AP Explore

Content strategy, visual design and development

As one of my first large projects after starting at AP, I was tasked with designing a digital experience to help commemorate the 60th anniversary of one of AP’s most iconic photographs, the Burning Monk. What began as a companion piece to a physical exhibit in AP’s world headquarters has grown into a full program of looks behind the scenes at AP’s newsgathering operation throughout its more than 170-year history.

Ranging from looks at single events to entire coverage categories, AP Explore offers a rare glimpse into how the world’s most trusted news organization operates.
